Laser Bomb puts you in control of the laser power. It allows you to conquer surfaces that projectors can’t. It emerged from the necessity to deliver information on the streets during the riots in Rio de Janeiro. We’ve already made projections with common projectors, but the light from the environment is always a problem and with laser we can go far away.
Technically it is a software that allows converting any computer image into a laser image. It captures the computer image, applies computer vision techniques to extract the main shapes of image and than convert it to lines. We’ve made this technology easier to access, delivering it as a tool for people to express themselves through laser art.
I developed the Dart drawing tool that sends a vector image to a openFrameworks software developed by Carlos de Oliveira.
